From Jan 23rd 2022 John Walter hosts a jazz jam session at The Bay Horse Inn, Totnes on the fourth Sunday of almost every month.

If you want to join in with the jam in the second half then choose a well-known jazz standard. Best practice is to bring a chart for piano and bass. Know your key and be prepared to count the band in.

More experienced musicians who can easily front up 8 or 9 tunes in the jazz mould – Come and jam with us and if we like you we may ask you to do a guest spot where you play with the house band for the first hour.
